The most authentic way to Live Forever

The laws of nature and the progress civilization allow us to pass on our genes and knowledge to future generations. Someone made us, we learned old stuff, made better stuff, and then we make people who take our stuff and make better stuff and then we all die.

The people that know us, that love us, will keep us in their memories. And they may tell others about us. But then they die, and much like your ancestors from 100 years ago, you’ll be forgotten as well.

And maybe some of us are fortunate to have those that love us provide a physical acknowledgement of our existence; a tombstone, an urn, a tree planted, a park bench plaque. And if you’ve got the means, you can have buildings, cultural centers, and things that bear your name. And as we move more into the digital world, we’ll soon see new ways to ‘permanently’ honor the existence of our corporeal meat casing.

Wanting a legacy is a very human thing.

When you were 4-8 years old, can you remember what was your favorite children’s book?

The one that felt like it spoke to you in some way?

It might not be first one you remember, though in often is.
It might not be one that was popular, though in many
